The American Progressive Bag Alliance uses clowns in a new ad aimed and halting a bag ban in California.
The proposed statewide ban on plastic bags failed yet again in the California legislature Monday.
Though the bill, SB 270, garnered 38 votes in favor an only 33 opposed, supporters were three votes shy of the 41 needed for approval. The bag ban bill is eligible to be brought up once for for reconsideration this session, though the legislature adjourns Aug. 31. |
