“Power for the Future” is the K-show theme at the 5,000-square-foot exhibit of Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH for its robots and auxiliary equipment, in Hall 10, Stand A4.
In robot news, Wittmann will show the new W842 that can work on presses up to 800 tons and larger, and handle a payload of 55 pounds (25 kg). A rack and pinion drive runs the vertical axis, giving the robot more lifting power.
In drying, the new Drymax Aton-2 is a segmented wheel dryer, an advanced version of the original Aton, with even more energy efficiency, the company said. The 3-Save Process takes only what is needed from regeneration energy to dry the molecular sieve in the wheel. If, in addition, a limiting value for the dew point is set, the Drymax Aton2 automatically optimizes the drying process through its EcoMode.
Wittmann also will present a Drymax central dryer tied to Silmax drying hoppers, equipped with the SmartFlow, air control flaps.
The company also will show Feedmax single loaders, and
Feedmax B central material loaders. All the latches of the loader can be easily opened, without using a tool, for quick cleaning.
Wittmann also will present Gravimax blenders and new models of the Tempro C120 series of temperature controllers.
Turning to granulators, making its K show debut will be the flexible MC 33. the machine functions equally beside the press or in a central grinding role.
Also at K, Wittmann Battenfeld will demonstrate its injection molding machines in Hall 16, Booth D22. |
